Cape Pattern
- To print our digital patterns you will need a PDF viewer to achieve the correct scale. Please open the file by Adobe Reader after downloading the file to your computer.
- Photoshop editing is unavailable.
You will need:
Main fabric
Interfacing
1 reel matching thread
Ribbons/laces (optional)
Steps
1. Finish edges and apply interfacing
Finish all edges, and apply interfacing to the wrong side of the fabric as directed in the pattern.
2. Place back and front of the cape right sides together, and sew the shoulder line. (The other half as well)
3. Make a neck facing
4. If you want additional decorations; collars/hoodies, apply them to the neck.

Also, if you want lace/ruffles to the hem, attach it.
Here’s how to measure the ruffle: Cut the length of the fabric two times the width of your hemline to create a gathered ruffule.
5. Place the neck facing onto the cape, right sides together.
6. Press the seam allowance, and topstitch along. (from hem, center front to the neckline.)
